Uses the same botanical active ingredient. Thymol present as a component of thyme oil. We formulate with whole vegetable oils, not synthesized copies of the chemicals found in oils – we believe the genuine way is the right way. - Common disinfectants require 10 minutes of contact time, which is difficult to achieve on vertical surfaces and materials. The new Decon 30 solves this problem by being specially formulated to kill gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria with a more realistic contact time of just 30 seconds.
Less toxic than vinegar. The active ingredient is highly specialized thyme oil. Over 5,000 years of history shows that microbes do not build up tolerance or resistance to the antimicrobial action of essential oils. In addition, the concentrations needed to kill microbes did not change during this entire period. In contrast, current germ killing practices have led to highly resistant organisms, which require more toxic chemicals and complex disinfection procedures.
